Our experiences and memories tell us a lot about who we are and where we find ourselves at this stage in our lives. Through poetry, fiction, and creative nonfiction we will explore the people, events, dreams, and choices we’ve made that have influenced us and have special meaning in our lives. We’ll think about what we’ve learned as we’ve traveled our life’s journey and we’ll consider what lessons we might want to share with others in our lives. To enhance our discussions and inspire our own writing, we will read and discuss selected short works by noted writers each week that relate to the theme of the workshop as we share our own prompt-based writing.
