The property’s 5 historic buildings make up approximately 6,000 sq. feet of museum-quality exhibition space. The farmhouse and barns sit next to a waterfall on a tributary of the Black River, and are surrounded by approximately 400 acres of pastures, hayfields and extensive woodland. Outdoor sculptures by world-renowned artists are installed throughout the grounds. Exhibitions are held seasonally, from May through November. Borrowing its title from a painting by the acclaimed Romanian artist Adrian Ghenie, \u003c\/span\u003e\u003cem style=\"font-family: 'Avenir Next LT Pro', sans-serif; font-size: 12pt; background-color: transparent;\"\u003eA Farewell to the Western World\u003c\/em\u003e\u003cspan style=\"font-family: 'Avenir Next LT Pro', sans-serif; font-size: 12pt; background-color: transparent;\"\u003e gathers approximately 70 artworks in painting, drawing, sculpture and photography that depict imagery suggestive of global shifts and an irreverence towards systems of established order.
