The wild mushroom adventure begins with this early summer forage that will specialize on identifying various medicinal, toxic and choice wild mushrooms. Coupled with safety, foraging tactics, traditional remedies and culinary uses, Chef Ian will lead the group into a healthy, organized, fun learning environment while discovering fungal treasures along the way. Space is limited; pre-registration is required.

Ian Vair is a chef and owner of Chaga Moon, a web-based business selling products made from the chaga mushroom. He and his wife also sell their products at local farmers markets. His interest in mushrooms and the study of mycology began over ten years ago and has since grown from hobby to thriving business.
